It's been a long time since I was out that way, and looking at anything close to that angle. Also, I'm kind of not sure that a dusk sky would be quite that lucent blue. I hadn't ever paid any attention to which hand was which direction! Good info!

REALLY love that sundown shot, Kane! In fact, if you don't mind, I'd like to use it for wallpaper....

Hoo boy - that one's a keeper too! Guess I'll have to do a rotation on my wallpapers now!

Thanks! :7: The combination of Climates of Tamriel and ELFX are making for some wonderful shots.

Bit dark at night, though. I'm always picking up torches.

Nice shots Kane!

I started a new Skyrim Character... didn't delete the last one though... but I started with Left for Dead - at the "leave the giants alone' signpost in the hot springs.. and right off the bat, a Flame Lurcher ( from Immersive Creatures ) started throwing fireballs at Tanith...and not wanting to die before we took more than a short look around, we did what any sensible person would do... use a giant and his mammoth as a shield.. and ya know, What goes UP..must come down!

Haha great strategy Are! My pally breton Palanitus was in just that area during the night and a giant and one of his remaining mammoths helped me take out 4 silver hand a$$holes that always attack me, even though I've never joined the companions or done anything to them. I did take their silver bows and arrows.

That's odd... are they listed as 'bandit' faction maybe?

I think in my case it's because of Immersive Creatures feature for night time Patrols. I don't think they're the vanilla Silver Hand dudes.

I don't have any of those mods. I've always had SH mobs attack.

I've never seen Silver Hand outside of the companion quests.

Before joining all the places I'd see them, there were regular bandits. After joining and becoming a wolf, there were mobs, but I don't remember them outside their dungeons. Like no random groups hunting me or anything.

I have no encounter mods, nor do I have difficulty mods.

There's the ones at Gallows Rock. And I always see some outside Silverdrift Lair on the "porch" area. Always in Driftshade too, and since I never do the Companions quest line, but always see them at those three places, I think they must "naturally occur" there.

They are. With OBIS they are a random spawn, Immersive Bandits to I think. I see them a lot, but I think their is a key word for spawning in Immersive Creatures, so that if a Werewolf pack spawns their is a good chance for some of the Silver hand to spawn as well.

I've been there and swear they were always just bandits.
