Sounds like fun.

Exhausting your weekly socialization alottment fun, but fun.

I'm afraid of what my hair is gonna look like. Im usually not big on styling it, though im not afraid to, but i found over the years my hair doesn't hold curl at all, nor volume when added via hair dryer. Its fine, thin, and boring.

Monthly socialization allotment really!

Yeah, I'm not into the whole blow-dry/style thing, it's why I want my hair straightened - unfortunately, that takes a toll.

Yeah straightening curly hair your length risks a lot of breakage. Longer it is, higher the risk.

I'm actually thinking of bleaching mine but I'd have to have a consult first since I'm not even sure it'd look good on me. My hair's dark blonde naturally. Dark blonde to light brown almost. Used to be red. T.T

Last day with long hair. Need to enjoy the evening brushies because he won't really be able to after I do this.

Plumbing emergency.

Our shower drain stopped up. Went to wash clothes... woo boy.

I went out for a walk, came back and opened the bathroom door. Inch of water on the floor. See, our washing machine drains into the shower. Usually, anyway. It decided it wasn't going to because the flow of water going out was too much for our clogged drain.

*sighs* Plumber time. Probably a hair clog.

Well, that's definitely the one major issue with long hair....

He refuses to put chemicals down the drain.

Miro, Draino is a chemical clog remover.

To be fair, I'm not even sure I can buy that stuff without some kinda permit. You can't buy a lot of shit here without one... last I checked you can't get borax without being a painter or similar for whatever reason.

Also who the fuck puts cream sauce on fish? Swedes, apparently. He's expecting me to eat this cod with cream sauce made from cream and chili sauce. No, no thank you. The only thing that goes on my fish is lemon and butter.

Sighs.

Three plumbers have rejected our calls because their schedules are full.

Fuck.

Make that 4.

Fourth guy gave Mikael a few tips to getting it unclogged, but if that doesn't work, it's shower and laundry at Mom's house for a while. :/ Hooker baths in the sink for a while too.

We can't put a drain screen in it. The holes on the drain cover are already pretty small, and it's a floor drain, like the type you'd see in a basement or something. I can't put anything finer on it or the damned water won't go through it fast enough. Used to run a drain screen on my bathtub drain for a while and water'd back up a little bit because it ran slower, even when the thing was clean.

Gotta buy a new shower mat too. I can't shower without one, I slip really easily on this floor for whatever reason but our mat was pretty gross. Cleaning it was not an option.

Also, need to get an outside doormat at some point. Our inside mat was so full of sand and shit from the driveway that when the cats scratched at it and flipped it over yesterday my shoes got full of sand. I'd like to prevent the sand from getting in the house in the first place.

Ah, homeowner issues. T.T Can't just like, call the landlord and have them deal with this shit.

One major convenience about renting; lift the phone and complain. After dialing the proper number and awaiting a reply, of course...

At least they kinda sorta still have to have a reason for it, and I provide them none. With owning a house on mortgages, you risk the bank evicting you :2:

Well, that's one thing you got handled then! Sorry to hear about the plumber issues - apparently Sweden has too many plumbing disasters and nowhere near enough plumbers?
